Grayson baseball team heads to tournament


Grayson College will join seven other baseball teams from Region V schools on Texas Tech University's Dan Law Field May 13-16 for the 2016 Region V Tournament.

The top four teams from both the North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference and the Western Junior College Athletic Conference qualified for the tournament to decide who will receive an automatic bid to the NJCAA World Series in Grand Junction, Colo. 

Midland College is the top seed from the WJCAC, while New Mexico Junior College is second, Howard College is third and New Mexico Military Institute is fourth.

In the NTJCAC, McLennan Community College is the top seed, Grayson College is second, Cisco College is third and Hill College is fourth.
